Interesting conversation last week. Had a brief interaction with a subject matter expert.
We were shooting the breeze one evening. I offered, half jokingly, an offer to provide some feedback. Immediately I got push-back.
How do you get better if you don't receive feedback? How would you know if you made a mistake? Mistakes are where learning occurs. If you operate in a bubble filled with just your ego, I don't expect a great deal of personal growth.
